The Handmaiden's Garden is a small, family owned production company located off the eastern shores of Lake Ontario, in upstate New York. Here in the lush watershed of the lake, we live simply and abundantly in balance with nature. We are dedicated to offering the same principles of simplicity and abundance to you through our distinct product lines.

While in my garden, overflowing with herbs and flowers, inspired by nature, and interested in all things herbal, I dedicated myself to service and healing, and created a production company to explore the many dimensions of using botanicals and creating beautiful herbal gifts.

The company was established in 1991, and has grown naturally throughout the years. From swags and wreaths, to dip mixes and teas, sewing and gluing, making everything from sachets to pillows, we moved into the arena of medicinal herbs and interest in healing aspects of nature and spirit. Eventually bath and body care products took over most of our time and energy due to the increasing demand in the later 1990’s.

Our organic garden is overflowing with flowers and herbs, many of which find their way into our studio to become a part of our products. Our studio is a small laboratory of sorts and connected to the garden. The labor of lovingly hand crafting botanical creations is literally only a step away from the natural world inspiring us.

Our distinct style of informality and passion for what we do create an atmosphere of loyalty, trust and good old fashioned business dealings. We strive to bring you friendly customer service and distinct product lines to enhance your own well-being.
